How to install Forticlient VPN v7.0 - Apple MacOS 11 and higher

INSTALLATION

  1. Download the FortiClient VPN installer with the link below.

  3. Click on the updater file and allow a few moments for FortiClient to download Screen_Shot_2020-08-25_at_11.15.44_AM.png

LAUNCHING AND CONNECTING THE Fortinet VPN Client

  1. Click the VPN icon in your menu bar, and select Connect to Queens VPN.Screen_Shot_2018-03-21_at_3.29.45_PM.jpg

  3. If you receive an "Invalid server certificate" warning, click continue.Screen_Shot_2018-03-21_at_3.32.34_PM.jpg
  4. You should now receive an alert that VPN is connected. You now have a secure connection to the Queens network, and should be able to access any network resources as would on campus.Screen_Shot_2018-03-21_at_3.35.40_PM.jpg
  5. To disconnect, click the VPN icon in the menu bar and select Disconnect Queens VPN.Screen_Shot_2018-03-21_at_3.37.34_PM.jpg
