QU-WiFi Wireless Setup for Windows 10

Follow
  1. Go to Start > All Apps > Windows System > Control Panel
  2. Click on Network and Internet then Network and Sharing Center
  3. Select Set up a new connection or network
  4. Select Manually create a network profile
  5. Enter only the following:
  • Network name: QU-WiFi
  • Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
  • Encryption type: AES
  1. Click Next then select Change connection settings
  2. Click the Security tab. Under Network Authentication Method select Protected EAP (PEAP)
  3. Check Remember my credentials…; Click Settings

  4. From the Protected EAP Properties window check Validate Server Certificate
  5. Select Authentication Method: Secured Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)
  6. Click Configure
  7. Uncheck Automatically use my Windows Logon name and password (and domain if any)

13.Click OK

  1. Click Advanced Settings
  2. Set "Specify authentication mode to" User Authentication
  3. Click OK
  4. Close any open windows and return to the system desktop.
  5. The connection will appear in your Windows system tray
  6. Click Enter/select additional logon information
  7. Input your credentials in the Windows Security Network Authentication Form
  • Type your Queens Username
  • Type your Queens password.
  • Click OK.
  1. You must accept the certificate in order to connect to the QU-WiFi (This will automatically appear on your screen once you put in your credentials)
  2. You are now connected to Queens QU-WiFi
