Note for Current Microsoft Exchange/Corporate Users: The Microsoft Exchange/Corporate Email username field cannot be edited on Android devices once account setup is complete. If you are currently using Microsoft Exchange/Corporate Email on your Android mobile device, you must remove this account prior to adding the new Queens account.
To remove a previous Microsoft Exchange/Corporate Email account:
- Navigate to Applications
- Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync
- Tap the account that you wish to remove
- Tap “Remove account”
To add your Queens Email account to your Android device:
Please note that the following instructions may vary based on the device manufacturer and OS version
- Navigate to Applications
- Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync
- Tap Add Account
- Select Microsoft Exchange or Corporate
- Enter your Email address and password.
- Tap Next.
- Under Server Settings, enter the following:
- Domain: (optional)
- Username: Enter your complete Email address.
- Password: Enter your Queens password
- Server: Enter “m.outlook.com”, without the quotes
- Port: if not already populated type 443
- Check Use Secure Connection and Accept All SSL Certificates.
- Tap Next.
- After authentication, check the boxes associated with the features you want to include such as Push, Amount to Sync, Notifications, Sync Contacts, Sync Calendar, Sync Calendar Amount etc.
- Click Next.
- Enter an account name such as “Queens”, for example to identify the account
- Click Done
