1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
2. Select Manage wireless networks then Add
3. Select Manually create a network profile
4. Enter only the following:
- Network name: QU-WiFi
- Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
- Encryption type: AES
5. Click Next then select Change connection settings
6. Click the Security tab. Under Network Authentication Method select Protected EAP (PEAP)
7. Check Remember my credentials…; Click Settings
8. From the Protected EAP Properties window check Validate Server Certificate
9. Select Authentication Method: Secured Password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)
10. Click Configure
11. Uncheck Automatically use my Windows Logon name and password (and domain if any)
12.Click OK
13. Click Advanced Settings
14. Set "Specify authentication mode to" User Authentication
15. Click OK
16. Close any open windows and return to the system desktop.
17. The connection will appear in your Windows system tray
18. Click Enter/select additional logon information
19. Input your credentials in the Windows Security Network Authentication Form
- Type your Queens Username
- Type your Queens password.
- Click OK.
20. You must accept the certificate in order to connect to the QU-WiFi (This will automatically appear on your screen once you put in your credentials)
21. You are now connected to Queens QU-WiFi
